About Carol

Picture
Carol Cohen has spent her life dedicated to teaching and learning. Carol is on the faculty of Lesley University Graduate School of Education where she teaches Social Studies Methods, Literacy and Practicum Seminar. Carol offers Professional Development Workshops and Tours as well as lectures for children and adults.   

 In Carol’s  popular “An Evening with Eleanor Roosevelt” presentation she uses a combination of portray and primary sources to give audiences a glimpse into the life of the First Lady of the World.    

With her educational consulting company Now Voyager Education she presents In-School field trips in elementary and middle schools throughout New England, New York and New Jersey.  

​Although history and geography is her Carol’s  area of expertise, theater is her passion.   Carol is a firm believer that learning at any age is greatly enhanced through the arts.  She utilizes her over three decades working in theater to make  all of her courses, workshops and lectures come alive. 
​Carol, a native New Yorker, has made her Massachusetts her home for the past 40 years. Her sons Ben and Lee are constantly teaching her about  life and learning. .
